♥︎ ♥︎ ♥︎ ♥︎ 1/2

Name: Mizon Let Me Out ByeBye Blackhead 3-step kit
Price: $26
What it does: A “3-step pore-purging system” to deeply purify and decongest pores
Key ingredients: Charcoal, black garlic extracts and milk protein
Available from: mecca.com.au

How it feels/smells/looks

Step 1- Open your Pores Heating Gel

The cleansing gel has a pleasant citrus smell. The first time I used this one it didn’t seem to heat up very much. The second time around, I tried it in the shower and really lathered it in my hands prior to applying. Success!

Hot tip: the instructions for each step are in Korean, however directions for use can be found on the Mecca website. It’s all fairly self-explanatory, but as a bit of a beauty rookie, I personally like to know I’m doing it by the book.

Step 2 – Peel Off Blackhead Out Pack

This is the peel part of the process (aka the fun part). I was tempted to skip straight to this bit, but I guess it’s not called a three-step process for nothing. I’ve watched my fair share of horror blackhead removal videos on youtube, so on my first use, I applied this pretty sparingly.

On subsequent uses, I threw all caution to the wind and went a little harder (only on the t-zone, of course). I do have fairly significant sideburns and at times, varying levels of facial hair, so better to be safe than sorry. If you loved painting glue on yourself in primary school only to peel it off, you’re in for a treat.

Step 3 – Closing Pore Cooling Serum

The serum smells citrusy and leaves skin feeling refreshed.

Why I like it

I usually find skin treatments a bit of a chore, but this was actually really fun to use.

Final comments

At $26 you can’t go too far wrong. Are my blackheads completely gone? I don’t think so, but it was easy, fun to use and left my skin feeling soft.
