Raey AW15 rules

Clothes for real life.

For those who haven’t yet heard of Raey, it’s time to join the party.

The in-house label for matchesfashion.com, Raey is designed to complement those special designer pieces already holding steadfast in your wardrobe. There’s a line for men and women, and their AW15 offering is just plain good.

The label has remained consistent with the aesthetic of its first season. It’s utilitarian, masucline and effortless, with the label maintaining an emphasis on clothing for real life.

There’s the typical winter colour palette with emphasis on contrasting textures (read: Donegal tweed and needle punched wool). Injections of violet, lime and turquoise also add an unexpected dynamism to the line.

Layering is a key element of both the men’s and women’s lookbooks and it’s clear that outerwear is at the heart of this collection. It’s also worth noting that trousers are key, knits are androgynous and functionality is a priority for Raey’s new season.

The collection is available from this week, exclusively at www.matchesfashion.com.
