New faces.

We love championing up-and-coming talent. This month we photographed a group of fresh-faced models, who are just beginning to make their way in the industry. And because we think you’ll be seeing a lot more of these girls, we decided to get to know them too.

Alex Woll

I have been modelling… since February 2015.

I was discovered… at the Katy Perry concert in Sydney in 2014.

Most people don’t know I… love tennis.

In my spare time I like to… relax after a busy week or hang out with friends and dance.

If I could change one thing about the world it would be… eradicate terrorism and [have] everyone live together peacefully.

The best advice I’ve ever received is… I know its clichéd but NEVER give up. Prove people wrong. There are so many famous and successful people in the world who were told they wouldn’t make it, but they did because they were determined.

My favourite city is… New York.

My favourite song is… at the moment ‘Wild Things’ by Alessia Cara.

My style icon is… there isn’t one specific person I create my style around but I really like a lot of what Madison Beer wears.

If I could have dinner with anyone it would be… Anna Wintour. Also Queen Elizabeth.

My mum always tells me… simply just do what makes me happy and if I don’t enjoy something, then don’t do it. She’ll always support me no matter what.

Girls my age need to stop worrying about… how they look. If they are happy with who they are then it really doesn’t matter what others think.

Anouk Daddo

I have been modelling… this is my first year.

I was discovered… at the Australian Open of Surfing in Manly. I got a tap on the shoulder from Claire Dickens from IMG.

Most people don’t know I… can recite Harry Potter.

In my spare time I like to… I live by the beach, so I spend a lot of my spare time in and around the water. Surfing, swimming and snorkelling.

My secret talent is… I can wiggle both my eyebrows, plus I do a great Dr. Evil.

If I could change one think about the world it would be… I don’t know. World Peace? Brexit? Donald Trump? Poverty? The ice epidemic? 

The best advice I have ever received is… a smile is the best makeup and do unto others… 

My favourite city is… Sydney, home never ceases to amaze. Paris is quite nice also, although I was only five at the time.

My favourite song is… ‘Tiny Dancer’ by Elton John – soundtrack of my childhood.

My style icon is… Bella Hadid, Margaret Zhang, Audrey Hepburn and Kate Moss.

If I could have dinner with anyone it would be… Gene Kelly, Frida Kahlo, J.K. Rowling.

My mum always tells me… you’re beautiful, you’re special, now tidy your room.

Girls my age need to stop worrying about… what people think about them. What matters is what you think about yourself.

Jasmine Rogers

I have been modelling… for about two years.

I was discovered… when my sister and I were at The Easter Show and were making our way down to the rides area. 

My favourite job so far… I recently did a job for Dolly which was incredibly cool. Everybody there was so nice and friendly, which made a super rad environment to work in. Plus, the fact I got to work for a magazine that I grew up reading was really awesome.

Most people don’t know I… am actually a twin!

In my spare time I like to…. go to the movies, but when I’m at home I love to read or play video games.

My secret talent is… I’m pretty good at drawing! Although that’s not really much of a secret talent, I talk about it all the time.

The best advice I’ve ever received is… try not to overthink the little stuff. Sometimes I get caught up in the details, so it’s good to remember to take a deep breath and look at the big picture.

My style icon is… Karlie Kloss always looks effortlessly beautiful. I admire how her clothes are always so simple and practical, yet still fashionable.

If I could have dinner with anyone it would be… J.K. Rowling, I am the biggest fan of the Harry Potter series and think she would be the coolest person to meet. Plus, she seems so nice! Did you know she was taken off the Forbes Billionaire List because she has donated so much money to various charities?

Olivia Parsons

I have been modelling for… less than a year.  I was scouted in January.

I was discovered… in a food court in the city by my manager, Simone Hellicar.

My favourite job so far… this shoot, as I also got to meet other girls in IMG Development.

Most people don’t know I… have a phobia of sharks.

In my spare time I like to… I’m a people person, so I love spending time with my friends and family.

My secret talent is… I can outlast everyone at sleepovers.

If I could change one thing about the world it would be… more love, less hate. Hatred is the cause of many of our world’s problems.

The best advice I’ve ever received is… to look after my skin.

My favourite city is… London!!! I lived there for two years and would go back in a heartbeat.

My favourite song is… either ‘Too Good’ by Drake ft. Rihanna or ‘M.E.N’ by Tink. 

My style icon is… Gizele Oliveira and also my sister. I would never tell her, but who knows what I’d be wearing without her.

If I could have dinner with anyone it would be… the cast of Harry Potter.
