I hate the way you clog my Facebook with dogs so impossibly lovely,

I hate the way you make me lonely,

And make me want to steal a puppy.

I hate the way I read your comments and get sucked into threads,

I hate it so much I steal my boyfriend’s dog and lie on his puppy bed.

I hate your dog-obsessed weirdo members, and that one of them is me,

I hate it when stangers’ dogs make me laugh, and that they are my reason to be.

I hate it when I want to adopt every puppy big and small,

But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you, not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.
