Melbourne Music Week’s 2017 program is here

And it’s a biggie.

After revealing the saintly surrounds of St Paul’s Cathedral as this year’s festival hub, Melbourne Music Week has now unveiled the full program in all its glory.

With nine days of music, art and escapades, it’s set to be the biggest MMW offering yet.

There’ll be performances across two levels of Melbourne Town Hall, on the steps of Parliament house, inside the State Library of Victoria, onboard trams and more.

The Cathedral’s carpark will be transformed into an outdoor live music venue featuring some top-notch talent. Live sets will be co-presented by I Oh You, Valve Sounds and Analogue Attic alongside headline Cathedral shows from DJ Hell, Julianna Barwick, Sampa The Great, and Jacques Green.

Of course, the programming of Melbourne Music Week is as musically diverse as the city itself. From jazz to electronic and everything in between, there’s something here to suit all tastes.

Safe to say, this is going to be huge.

Melbourne Music Week goes down from Friday November 17 – Saturday November 25. Head here to check out the full program.
