Bruno Mars: 24K Magic

24K Magic opens with the title track.

It’s the musical equivalent of pulling out the main course before the entrée has even hit the table, but sets the scene pretty accurately for this cracker of a record.

For some reason, Halle Berry delivers a cameo. But don’t hold it against Mars, who’s on fire here.

If you’re looking for an album that is a masterclass in old school funk, yet doesn’t take itself too seriously, then 24K is your new summer jam. It delivers tracks that are sure to put you in a great mood. I mean, one of the lyrics is “hashtag blessed.”

How can you not love it?
