Beloved beauty blog Into The Gloss have launched their beauty line, Glossier, and they’re on a mission to redefine the beauty game.

Into The Gloss was created by Emily Weiss, and peeks into the beauty collections of models, makeup artists and strong women who are just as obsessed with beauty as Emily and her readers are.

When a celebrity releases a perfume, eyes rolls and groans are likely to follow. Though makeup lines have become a natural progression for many successful beauty bloggers, Glossier is definitely not an afterthought.

“Geeking out over a beauty product is fun. What I don’t think is fun, is editing yourself, aspiring to finally arrive at some idea or picture of perfect, untouchable “glamour”, “defining your style,” or racking your brain trying to decide the “right time” to do something. For the most part, there will never be a right time. Just go for it,” Emily says.

Glossier have released a collection called Phase 1, with four “skincare as makeup” products that claim to achieve a fresh dewy glow with minimal effort. The set includes the Priming Moisturizer, the Soothing Face Mist, the Balm Dotcom (a skin salve for lips and dry areas) and the Perfecting Skin Tint. They currently only ship to the US, but are likely to ship to Australia soon, considering their international readership.

The beauty industry is full of incredible products, but perhaps not all with the same heart and freedom that Glossier encompasses.
