This is for all of you looking to update your fragrance. Or, alternatively, those who can simply appreciate a good looking bottle.
Earlier this year, Louis Vuitton announced its foray into fragrance and we now know what the range is set to look like.
That, my friends, is a good looking bottle.
The fragrances have been a long time coming, following the company’s purchase of French perfumerie, Les Fountaines Parfumees, back in 2013. But the delay has not been without purpose. It was a deliberate decision, in order to allow LVMH to develop the ‘personality’ of each fragrance, in a bid to beat the mass marketed perfumes of other fashion houses.
Furthering this mission is the fact the fragrances will only be available through Louis Vuitton stores.
According to the Louis Vuitton website:
“Master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, a native of Grasse, the birthplace of both perfume and leather craftsmanship, spent months travelling the world in search of inspiration. Breathing the fragrance of exotic places and rare materials, he created Les Parfums Louis Vuitton: a journey of emotions.”
Perhaps this explains the $240 USD price tag.
