If it wasn’t enough that attractive people earn more money and are more likely to be given free stuff, a devastating study has reported that pretty people will also get higher marks.
The report by the Metropolitan Sate University of Denver, compared student academic records with ratings people gave their student ID photos.
The results showed a correlation between someone’s perceived attractiveness and their academic performance. They also found women judged as least attractive had earned significantly lower marks.
It's probably no surprise that male professors are the most likely to inflate someone's grade based on their appearance.
Because life wasn’t unfair enough.
