Name: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Cream
Price: $185
What it does: A sticky balm-like moisturiser that firms, plumps and rejuvenates skin overnight
Key ingredients: Winter Daphne stem cell extract, time released retinol, red algae marigel, olus oil and castor seed oil
Available from: charlottetilbury.com/au

How it feels/smells/looks

Fair warning, it’s extremely sticky! It kind of feels like smearing honey on your face, except it smells floral-y.

Why I like it

IT’S AMAZING. Waking up, my skin feels completely rejuvenated and looks really dewy. Even after sleeping face down on my pillow all night, I can feel it on my skin in the morning. I was worried about breakouts since it’s so moisture-heavy, but I’ve used it every night for two weeks and haven’t broken out once.

Areas for improvement

The stickiness. It feels gross and goopy when you apply and if you apply too much, you can feel your face sticking to the pillow at night.

Final comments

At $185 for 50mL, this stuff is expensive. However, similar to liquid gold, you don’t need much for it to be effective. I am officially converted to the Church of Charlotte Tilbury.
