Since its inception in 1962, the CFDA has released nine books. Only nine.

And reportedly they've never been more excited than the release of their latest. On what important subject matter must this focus, you ask?

No, it's not a poignant look at how the app has democratised fashion nor is it a criticism on the pace it has pushed the industry. Instead, it is quite literally a whole bunch of screen grabs from CFDA designers' Instagrams. Groundbreaking.

Admittedly some of the pics are quite cool (Diane Von Furstenburg's selfie is sa chic), but bottom line, we didn't need this.
