Role description

Sydney communications house The Audience Agency (TAA) has an opening for a digital native to join our team managing social media and dynamic online content.

We are a leading communications and events agency elevating contemporary brands in Australia. TAA was founded by Montarna McDonald; after years of experience in Sydney agencies and in-house Montarna saw a gap in the market to offer the full suite of modern communication services in one place, from public relations and product showroom representation to brand collaborations, above and below the line advertising and influencer content. TAA is based in Paddington representing Australian clients and global brands.

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of TAA’s digital strategy across our brand and client accounts
  • Developing and managing content and schedules for all social media calendars
  • Contributing to all relevant client accounts with digital content strategies and vision across the board at TAA
  • Copywriting for various digital formats including blogs, websites and ads
  • Proactive involvement in TAA’s new business strategy, both by bringing ideas to the table and preparing social media and content proposals, and contributing digital concepts to those proposals worked on by other members of the team
  • Staying ahead of the digital game and being on top of all trends and developments that affect our work. Providing a digital briefing fortnightly to the team and to clients

Requirements

Only apply for this role if you are:

  • A social media and content creative with two years of agency-side/in-house experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, CMS systems, social platforms and third-party social managers, Facebook Ad Manager, Power Editor, Facebook Insights, Google Analytics
  • Experience with social media advertising management across the core platforms (FB, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat)
  • Creative online copywriter – we want someone to tell a story in 140 characters, who can speak emoji and creates web copy that packs a punch
  • Ability to source content, create, dispatch and analyse EDMs on behalf of The Audience Agency
  • Organised and efficient, and a sucker for attention to detail
  • A sponge for social media trends and digital developments, as well as an appreciation for the industries we represent; fashion, lifestyle, hair and beauty, food, beverage and hospitality, luxury, design and technology. You will be creating regular global and localised digital news round-ups to share with our communications team and briefing us on key developments that affect our brands
  • A team player with the can-do attitude, all day every day
  • Confident with client-facing communication and professional ambassador for TAA
  • Commitment to doing the best work possible – working nonstandard hours when required, foreseeing issues and handling these with diplomacy, striving for innovation with every project
