Role description:

Working closely with the Sales & Brand Manager, and the managing team in our Rosebery-based head office, you will be involved creating all printed and digital content ensuring the brand messaging is consistent, clear and strong.

Core responsibilities include: retouching, creating and producing all marketing material for new season launches and digital marketing to drive sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute weekly EDM’s with direction from retail sales and marketing
  • Work together with the sales and marketing director to deliver exceptional creative and ensure all new season collateral and digital assets are prepared and neatly organised to distribute to wholesalers and uploaded to internal sites
  • Taking ownership of all social media posts, including, but not limited to: Social Media assets including Instagram and Facebook feed, and blog and Pinterest
  • Photographing flatlays, model images, mannequin shots + coordination of all imagery
  • Aligning imagery that fits brand aesthetic and emotion 
  • Liaising with suppliers: printers/finishers, photographers and media placement agencies
  • POS, signage and window installations as necessary
  • Quickly design visual mock-ups of design directions to help present internally and externally
  • Quickly analysing all imagery to be released and retouching, often with image compositing
  • Reporting Social activity and numbers, EDM responses, Community engagement

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of professional design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Design/Communications or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
  • Passion for and experience in graphic design and e-commerce.
  • Must be highly competent in Photoshop and InDesign – have an understanding of Magento, Mailchimp and social platforms
  • Highly proficient in photo retouching and digital image compositing
  • Strong layout and typographic skills
  • Understanding of Online Retailing and Web Site Performance as well as SEO, SEM and digital marketing to drive sales
  • Strong knowledge of trends in photography, fashion, typography and colour.
  • Attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely

  • Able to respond quickly to multiple projects and work well under pressure, effectively handling conflicting deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities
  • Competent in Niche or similar fashion software, excel, office, outlook
