Job description

Create and develop brand creative collateral across all platforms and work closely with the Sales & Marketing Team to develop key sales strategies. The role will include digital design, print media design, look book design, publication design, social media support and content creation, photo editing and website maintenance.

Job Duties

Graphic Design

  • Look book development, edits and design
  • Develop and design strategic material for e-commerce website and social media platforms
  • Create weekly EDM's
  • Design monthly ‘World of S.’ blog posts
  • Take direction on graphic concepts and designs
  • Direct the brand's image
  • Website design and graphic production

Ghost Imagery

  • Manage photo shoot for Ghost Imagery for each collection after online order has been confirmed in JOOR
  • Edit imagery for final display online

Printing

  • Oversee all print material to ensure highest quality

Office Technical Support and Management

  • Computer software installation
  • Printing issues
  • Phone connection
  • Wifi management
  • Server / setup solutions
  • General management of IT issues that arise in the office

E-Commerce/Website Management

  • End to end product management; upload, merchandising and management
  • Website management including; web development, UX & UI improvement, content and copy
  • Managing communication of site design with CSS developers
  • Monitoring and testing site issues, functionality and design
  • Automated emails
  • CSS/HTML
  • Managing collection launches and executing in line with critical timelines
  • Ensuring imagery is of the highest quality
  • Monitoring level of customer service with Customer Service manager
  • Researching and implementing innovations in e-commerce technology

Digital Marketing

  • Developing strategic digital marketing and content plans for each collection across the following platforms:
    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • Blog
    • Email
    • Website
  • Management and reporting of paid Advertising across: Facebook, Instagram, Google Shopping, Google Ad words & Google Placement Ads
  • Managing visual direction and tone of brand with PR & Social Media Manager
  • Reviewing analytics and outlining areas of improvement that derive actionable insights for s t e e l e .
  • Working closely with Social Media Manager to ensure SM communications are in line with all other touch points of the business
  • Preparing and distributing imagery folders for wholesalers and internal social usage

To be considered, applicants must have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working in Graphic Design (within the Fashion Industry preferred)
  • Qualification in Graphic Design or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Excellent if skilled in – Mailchimp, Google Analytics and back end e-commerce platforms e.g. Big Commerce, Magento
  • Excellent communication skills and creative brand vision
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to edit, retouch and resize images with speed and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, driven and confident in their abilities
  • Clean, sophisticated design aesthetic
  • Able to work under pressure and to short deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to take constructive criticism
  • Positive and upbeat
