Role Description

Airmed is a medical uniform E-commerce brand looking to expand our Marketing team. Our company is dedicated to empowering health professionals through our range of products that include innovative scrubs and various stylish and functional accessories. We are seeking an experienced and talented Marketing Manager to join our team and share our vision across the online landscape.
The marketing manager involves collaborating closely with the Co-founders and Marketing team to implement strategies that are in sync with the overall business strategy. In this key position, you will significantly influence the marketing trajectory of our brand within the healthcare community, spanning across our online channels. Your duties encompass the planning and implementation of thorough marketing strategies aimed at growing brand visibility amongst healthcare, engaging the audience, and enhancing performance. Your responsibilities will range from crafting detailed marketing plans and organising events to conceptualising compelling digital and social campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated small team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team, ensuring members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
    • Set clear performance goals, conduct regular review meetings, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
     

    Strategic Planning:

    • Craft and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the company’s overall business objectives and enhances brand equity.
    • Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends and identify key opportunities and challenges.
    • Work closely with other departments, particularly sales and product teams, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing initiatives.

    Brand Management:

    • Oversee the company’s brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all marketing channels.
    • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines, upholding brand integrity in all forms of communication.
    • Spearhead brand partnerships, social media promotions, and campaigns that resonate with our audience and foster engagement.

    Digital Marketing:

    • Lead and innovate our digital marketing strategies, encompassing website management, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and paid ads.
    • Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and technologies, applying insights to drive marketing effectiveness and innovation.
    • Utilise data analytics to measure, analyse, and optimise digital marketing campaigns and strategies.

    Community Event Management:

    • Coordinate and manage our participation in key date events and activations, maximising brand exposure and networking opportunities.
    • Utilise events as platforms to strengthen brand presence, generate leads, and cultivate strategic relationships and build a strong community.

    Market Research:

    • Conduct ongoing market research to gauge industry dynamics, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences.
    • Apply research findings to refine marketing strategies and influence product development directions.

    Budget and Reporting:

    • Manage the marketing budget judiciously, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact and ROI.
    • Provide regular reports and insights on marketing performance, aligning with key performance indicators and business goals.

    About you

    • A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing or similar role, with a preference for backgrounds in e-commerce or retail.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
    • Demonstrated expertise in successful digital marketing execution and a deep understanding of social media strategies.
    • Exceptional project management and organisational skills
    • Ability to adapt swiftly and grasp the audiences needs
    • Experience in executing events-based marketing initiatives
    • Strong experience in leadership with the ability to inspire and cultivate a strong team culture
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building cross-functional relationships
    • A proven track record of leveraging social media to enhance brand engagement and growth
    • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
    • Creative thinker and a passion for compelling storytelling
