Lazy Oaf’s new collection was inspired by teen angst

Keeping it weird.

After stealing hearts with its Dr. Martens collaboration, Lazy Oaf has returned with its winter offering.

Taking cues from teenage angst and rebellion, the new collection pays homage to music-influenced subcultures.

The brand drew inspiration from the late ’70s punk scene and the early ’80s gothic movement – not to mention a bit of early Madonna – to produce pieces which reference “the despondency of having to conform to a boring norm.”

Checkered prints, heart motifs and designs of faces adorn majority of the drop, which also injects bold colours like lime, Barbie pink and cherry red into an otherwise black and white palette.
