Victorious.

Gah so dreamy. Zimmermann showcased their Spring 2016 RTW runway at NYFW and it was heavenly.

Titled Master and Mischief, the collection fuses historic references with a disorderly mood. Nicky Zimmermann was inspired by Ethel Turner’s novel, Seven Little Australians, which depicts a group of siblings growing up in bushland Australia in the late 1880s.

It’s Victoriana with a modern edge. The collection uses natural textures including linen, cotton organdy, raw silks, embroideries and lace to create playful silhouettes with high necklines, diaphanous miniskirts and bouncy folded fabrics.

Florals abound for spring. We love.
