Opening Ceremony is an all star when it comes to collaborations.
Gearing up for the US summer months to come, OC has teamed up with TEVA for the second time to create a collection of sandals.
The combination of TEVA, known for their comfortable, outdoor shoes and OC for their impicably stylish taste makes for a very cool pair of sandals.
The collection uses TEVA’s classic disintive designs, with the velcro straps and nylon body, and mixes it in with OC’s own unique take on patterns and colour palettes. What’s on offer is the Flatform Universal with a multi coloured platform and the OC’s take on a TEVA classic with the Hurricane XLT Gladiator that comes with a removable ankle strap.
Though these shoes might not be for everyone, those who can appreciate this '90s revamp agree with Chief curator of the Museum of FIT, Valerie Steele, that “ugliness is very close to stylishness. In a fashion context, it can look cooler and more cutting edge than prettiness.”
The sandals are now available for pre order at the OC site here.
