After well and truly conquering the blogosphere, Rumi Neely has taken her next step and launched her own clothing line. Described as, “The embodiment of Rumi’s personal style,” her label Are You Am I features lingerie-inspired garments that easily slip into your wardrobe, in a variety of luxurious fabrics that redress the way we see basics.

While the collection bears a summer wear theme, the soft leather featured throughout tanks and shorts ensures the pieces are transeasonal. Heavy silk pieces are designed to be worn, worn and worn again, and dainty cotton essentials keep warm weather in mind.

Known for having popularised the minimalist aesthetic, Rumi has weaved this throughout the collection. The line helms simplicity, a theme we might find again in her future work, as Rumi has already expressed excitement over plans for a classic leather jacket and chunky knits.

The designer held a pop-up store in LA last week and the collection is available online.
