First Sussan and now Esprit.

The latest in a line of old-school brand revamps is the Esprit by Opening Ceremony collection.

The brand you’ve come to know from raiding your mum’s wardrobe as a child has been revived into a collection that alludes to contemporary styles, while retaining the essence of ‘80s and ‘90s streetwear.

Opening Ceremony founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon wanted to reinterpret the staples they enjoyed from Esprit way back when to make them fresh again.

The capsule collection boasts over 40 styles for women and men, even offering some unisex pieces and accessories.

Reversible jackets, dresses and sweatshirts shout in gingham, grid and check prints, while mutlicoloured Esprit logos printed on bags and hoodies are reminiscent of our childhood.

As if you needed another reminder that your mum’s always right.
