Pharrell Williams x G-Star RAW for the Oceans collection
Now Pharrell can add environmental designer to his resume.
We don’t have to tell you that Pharrell is pretty darn cool. He’s got an appreciation for fashion, a serious amount of swag and continues to churn out number-one hits like no one else.
This collab has made him even cooler (if that’s possible). Pharrell has teamed up with G-Star RAW to release the brand’s first recycled ocean plastic denim collection.
Titled RAW for the Oceans, the collection is made from Bionic Yarn, an eco-friendly thread made up of fibres derived from recycled plastic bottles found in the ocean.
Now Pharrell can add environmentalist to his resume—this collection has already used a staggering 10 tonnes of plastic waste!
Oh, and it’s not one of those annoying collections that’s only available in the US. The collection drops this Sunday 14 September in Australian stores and online.
