Class of 2016: The best work from this year’s RMIT Masters of Fashion graduates

Ones to watch.

Graduate designers are the fashion industry’s secret honey pot.

Often overshadowed by existing hot shots, these designers are undeniably talented forces, dripping with ambition, guts and innovation.

The RMIT Masters of Fashion grads are some of the country’s best, with the class of 2016 debuting their collections at MPavilion last week. We’re lucky enough to have a closer look.

Photographer Elliott Lauren snapped the backstage pics, taken at RMIT where it all began.

Featuring designs by Sarah Hope Schofield, Ruvini Jayasekara, Aseka de Silva, Hugh William Stewart, Alexandra Deam and Paul Castro, take notes.

These are ones to watch.
