Footwear fave, Windsor Smith, is celebrating 70 years young this month.

From humble beginnings as a men’s retailer in Melbourne, the brand now boasts 39 stores across Australia and is stocked in a selection of global retailers. But an impressive history is not the only reason we like looking back.

A trip down memory lane presents us with pure gold – in the form of old ad campaigns.

From big heels to even bigger hair, these campaign images are equal parts interesting, nostalgic and pretty damn cool.

Enjoy.
