Target has announced its next designer collaboration

It’s all about our laid-back, unstuffy confidence.

Target has announced another designer collaboration and this one should be quite interesting.

Jean Paul Gaultier for Target is the next collab in line, with JPG joining a stellar cast as part of the Designers for Target program.

He’s playful and a little bit of a bad boy in the French fashion industry, and his collection is set to embody this.

The collection balances Gaultier’s unique and quirky style to create a line that resonates with our Australian style: i.e. laid back, confident and generally awesome.

So why Target?

“I have looked for inspiration in many ways but one of the constants is the street and what people are wearing. I believe in fashion that you can wear everyday not just on a catwalk – which is really what Target stands for at its core – which made it the right retail partner for me to choose to bring this range to market in Australia.”

As with previous designers, the collection is high quality at an affordable price for all of us everyday people. Fortunately for all of us, their conception of ‘affordable’ is not the same as H&M x Balmain’s.

With pieces starting from just $10, the range will comprise of over 100 products including clothing, shoes, lingerie, homewares and baby and nursery items.

Jean Paul Gaultier’s exclusive Target collection will be available online and in selected Target stores across Australia early next year.
