adidas has just added a new style to the ever-growing Superstar collection.
The premium edition of the Superstar 80s for women sees the classic get a luxe update. The sneaker features a sliced nubuck upper finished with an embossed snakeskin print.
Dropping on Thursday, the sneakers will be released in celebration of adidas’ first Queensland Neighbourhood concept store in Pacific Fair.
After already launching in London, Shanghai and Berlin, the Neighbourhood concept stores aim to capture the energy of the streets and form cultural epicentres.
The Pacific Fair store will showcase the new adidas Originals Classic ICONS campaign, which celebrates the most popular three-stripe silhouettes (including the Stan Smith and Superstar).
You can also expect an exhibit of images on display, as snapped by local music photographer Savannah van der Niet. The shots feature some of our best Australian musicians, including Banoffee and Tame Impala, sporting their fave adidas pieces.
The Pacific Fair store will open on Thursday June 16 at 9am.
