Forget self-lacing shoes guys, we're all about the 3D-printing these days.
Adidas has teamed up with Parley for the Oceans to 3D-print itself an environmentally friendly pair of kicks. Tapping the mind-boggling technology to print the sole of its latest design, the team has created a shoe that not only looks amazing, but was created using plastic debris found in the ocean.
Gill nets and recycled polyester were used to create the midsole, and the upper is all ocean plastic.
Adidas is making big strides in its mission to help save the planet, also phasing out all plastic bags in retail stores by the middle of next year.
