Albus Lumen’s Sydney Fashion Week runway was more like a Sicilian holiday

Right up our alley.

A tiled runway backed by indoor greenery, white brick and lemon filled-baskets set the scene for Albus Lumen’s latest Resort collection.

Lemon Pickers is inspired by a holiday in Sicily and the show reflected notions of nostalgia, youth and freedom.

Models walked barefoot as guests were seated in mismatched wicker chairs. It was all very relaxed; hair was loose and given a natural, beachy texture, courtesy of REDKEN 5TH AVENUE NYC.

Designs came in a primary palette of white, cream and black, with splashes or lemon and terracotta adding warmth. Silhouettes flowed, with button-down dresses and shell buttons adding to the seaside feel.
