Celebrating fashion and diversity.

Words by

Elle O'Donnell

The annual Expression Fashion Gala is happening again in its eighth consecutive year, shining a light on local designers and models to raise awareness around positive body image for young people.

Celebrating diversity in culture, language, gender, sexuality, appearance and ability, the Expression Fashion Gala will showcase the work of nine designers, exhibiting their unique offering to the creative industry.

The event is all thanks to the City of Stonnington and event partners The Butterfly Foundation, MOIRA, The Social Studio and the Centre for Multicultural Youth. Their goal, ‘to combat the negative effects that unrealistic male and female stereotyping within the fashion industry can have on a young person.’

This event will sell out people, so to secure a spot pre-purchase your tickets at Chapel Off Chapel or by calling (03) 8290 7000.
