This is your start.

An incubator for young talent, The First Thread is all about supporting up-and-coming designers to promote and grow their labels. Part mentor, part online retailer, it showcases only the best from emerging designers around Aus.

The current line-up includes Phoenix Keating, Nylons, Elliot Label and St Agni, with many more labels to be added over the coming months.

And now the platform is offering up a spot in its highly-curated collection.

To apply, budding designers in fashion, accessories and jewellery should head here and write a short bio, with a link to your collection or lookbook.

The First Thread will be looking for designers who have produced at least two collections, have fewer than eight stockists and are passionate about turning their brand into a successful business.

The winning designers will be invited by The First Thread to launch online mid March, so keep your eyes peeled for an announcement.

Good luck!
