Well, we didn’t think MBFWA could get any bigger but we were very wrong indeed.

This year, Oscar de la Renta will make its first ever Australian runway debut.

The NY-based fashion house, which was established in 1965, will present its Summer 2016 collection on Friday May 20.

The label will be represented in Aus by Oscar de la Renta’s executive vice president, Eliza Bolen.

Of the debut, CEO Alex Bolen, said: “We are very excited to partner with IMG and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia for our first show in Sydney. We look forward to bringing the world of Oscar de la Renta to stylish Australians.”

Excuse us while we calm down.
