If doing a course in design sounds appealing, Karl Von Busse’s Open Day is one to mark on the calendar.

The Sydney design college is known for its courses in fashion, graphic design, interior design and visual merchandising. A nest for growing creatives, small class sizes and practical experience give students the skills needed to cope in professional environments.

As part of this year’s open day, Karl Von Busse’s new Visual Merchandiser, Romain Nicoloso, will be sharing his advice and career knowledge.

Nicoloso’s career accolades are world-class, from studying in Paris to becoming the visual designer to brands like L’Oréal, Lancôme, Victor Boëda and Nike x Biotherm.

The chance to study, work and play in cities like Paris and Milan is on the cards for Karl Von Busse students, with international study trips available.

Date: Saturday August 27
Time: 12:30pm - 2:30pm
Venue: Level 2, 400 Kent Street Sydney

And the work that goes into prepping for a design school exhibition.
The student designer on our radar.
Meet the fashion graduate making fabric out of Kombucha.
A less traditional side to student design.
Busting the big-haired, acrylic-nailed, bend-and-snapping stereotype.
And why there's more to the job than you thought.
For all you students who love to get turnt but #unistudentbudget.
The opportunity of a lifetime, please and thank you.
