In case you didn’t know, there are ways of becoming a model other than auditioning for Australia’s Next Top Model or getting scouted at your local Maccas (the dream).

The Australian Academy of Modelling offer a number of different courses for aspiring models, most notably the Comprehensive Model Course and the Modelling Masters.

They cover everything. From the catwalk, editorial shoots, wardrobe, building your portfolio, health and nutrition, interviews and casting, hair and makeup, financial management to mentoring, and heapsss more.

They’ve got an international team of trainers to help with all that and there’s a lot of career support for agency placement and industry networking.

Their models have progressed into modelling agencies such as Vivien’s, Chadwick, FMM, Giant Management, Vicious Models, London Management, Pride Models, Brazen Models, Cosmopolitan Model Management and FRM Model Management.

It’s a pretty simple application form through their website so it’s actually not that nerve-wracking.
