Kids got talent.

Melbourne Spring Fashion Week is officially underway (!!!) and last night saw the excitement continue with the Emerging Collective Runway.

A packed out Melbourne Town Hall showcased work from the highly talented students of Box Hill Institute, FashionMasters, Holmesglen Institute, Kangan Institute and Whitehouse Institute of Design.

Traditionally the most innovative shows of the festival, the first student runway was once again dominated by ingenuinity in design.

Those hoping to catch a firsthand glimpse of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week can browse the full program here.

Even if you don't have a portfolio.
The student designer on our radar.
Meet the fashion graduate making fabric out of Kombucha.
What we like to call impressive.
Soz, you missed out on a doozy.
Spring, we're ready for you.
A less traditional side to student design.
Curating the exhibitions, seminars, runways and parties just for you.
Busting the big-haired, acrylic-nailed, bend-and-snapping stereotype.
All long limbs and nervous faces.
For all you students who love to get turnt but #unistudentbudget.
They aren't holding anything back...
All summer vibes and bangers.
Bit of rock and roll glam for your afternoon.
The essence of spring.
A work experience opportunity like no other.
Pretty things, pretty people.
The opportunity of a lifetime, please and thank you.
A runway of graduate proportions.
There's something in the water over at RMIT.
Lui Hon's latest collection is simply beautiful
Nike just did it and it was pretty rad.
With a line up reading as an “It List” of Australian talent and an in demand theme of minimalism, Wednesday’s MSFW: Designer...
Last night’s MSFW: Designer Runway One was everything you dreamed of as a little girl.
Are you really, really ridiculously good looking yet still remain unsigned?
Melbourne Spring Fashion Week is a wonderful time of year.
