Just when you think the NGV’s exhibition lineup couldn’t get any greater, it goes ahead and drops news like this.

It's just been announced that our favourite gallery will be bringing 70 years' worth of Dior fashion to Australia.

Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture will hit our shores in winter 2017 and while that's a while to wait, it’s going to be totally worth it.

The exhibit will see 140 of the fashion house’s designs, starting with Christian Dior’s Spring 1947 collection. There'll also be a selection of accessories, sketches, photographs and multi-media material on show.

Tickets are available now if you want to get in early.
