Colour bible Pantone has just released its top 10 colours for Spring 2017. The news basically means that shades Niagara, Primrose Yellow and Kale (urgh) will now become your new faves.

For the announcement, Pantone mixed up its seasonal forecasting, reflecting a more immediate approach to retail as seen in NYFW's 'see-now-buy-now' runways.

The process saw the Pantone team record each colour showcased in the 119 NYFW shows, before curating a top 10 list based on the shades most featured.

The resulting top 10 is as follows:

  1. Niagara 17-4123
  2. Primrose Yellow 13-0755
  3. Lapis Blue 19-4045
  4. Flame 17-1462
  5. Island Paradise 14-4620
  6. Pale Dogwood 13-1404
  7. Greenery 15-0343
  8. Pink Yarrow 17-2034
  9. Kale 18-0107
  10. Hazelnut 14-1315
