It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for.

Rag & Bone is finally opening in Australia, with the first store landing at Elizabeth Street, Melbourne.

March 20 will see the brand’s first official Australian opening take place at The Strand Arcade, taking over FAT’s old space near Elizabeth and Little Bourke.

The New York-based brand made waves in the early 2000s with its menswear, building a cult following across the US and Europe.

Rag & Bone has since extended its range, now also selling women’s clothing, footwear and accessories. It’s mainly known for fusing fine English tailoring with a downtown New York aesthetic.

Rag & Bone jeans have previously been available in Australia, although they were only ever in limited ranges.

The new store will join a lineup of international brands in the high-end precinct including COS, Saturdays NYC and Acne Studios.
