In today's episode of 'Did that honestly just come out of your mouth?' Riccardo Tisci has quashed any vicious rumours announcing that no, he did not invent the colour black.
Phew, thanks Riccardo. Now we can all sleep easy tonight.
Tisci took the opportunity to clear the air in an interview with Time, during which he stated, "I didn’t invent black color, but people related so much black to me, which is a very beautiful thing."
Why he felt the need to clarify this point is largely unclear. He pointed to journalists, mentioning their use of the term 'Riccardo Tisci Black.'
Not a term that we've ever seen, but hey, who are we to call Riccardo a liar? We're just glad he's settled this matter once and for all.
