Against the backdrop of the luxurious grand ballroom of London's Australia House on Friday, Sass and Bide launched their latest collection MOJO-KIKO.
The iconic Australian brand having recently undertaken a major shuffle in operations, showcased a new direction for the company focusing on contrasts and contradictions, under their new Creative Director Anthony Cuthbertson.
Since the beginning, the Sass and Bide aesthetic has been inspired from not trends and contemporary styles, but cultural heritage, travel, and rich artisan refinement from around the world. MOJO-KIKO is no different. This collection focuses on the textured detailing and rich embellishments of Japanese outerwear, kimono prints, and robotic outlines with a distinct new energy. However, keeping to the Aussie roots, the brand also teamed up with RM Williams to create a unique pair of kangaroo leather boots which were worn by the models along with natural makeup and a fresh glow.
