Championing the slow fashion movement.

Words by

Tara Smith

Oon (that’s Nepali for ‘wool’) is an Australian cashmere label championing the slow fashion movement.

It does this by using traditional tools, such as looms, to individually weave garments from cashmere and other raw materials.

The label works with Nepalese artisans who have honed their practice over generations, only producing pieces in small batches.

Oon has also made a big commitment to ensuring fair working conditions for its makers, preserving their craft and contributing to the social and economic wellbeing of the community.

On the environmental side, all products are made exclusively with natural, eco-friendly and renewable materials.

There are officially zero reasons not to check it out.
