Meet Pimelia. The independent label is producing quality, eco-friendly jewellery from its Sydney studio.
Designer, Leah Sawyer, handcrafts Pimelia’s offering from sustainably harvested birch plywood, with each piece laser cut using 100 per cent green power (how’s that for brownie points?).
The result sees intricate art deco design mixed with Eastern influences across lightweight pieces.
The plywood designs are then coated with sugar acrylic sprays and combined with raw brass and vintage beads. Both have recyclable properties and continue the use of sustainable materials across the collection of earrings and necklaces.
With minimal impact on the environment and a bright colour palette of tan, turquoise and sky blue, this is jewellery you can feel good about.
