You can thank FRE Customs for this one.

2016 might’ve been about every colourway and material rework of the Stan Smith, but 2017 brings the year of the embroidered sneaker (among a few other trends).

Sneaker customisers, FRE Customs, have been doing some serious appliqué makeovers to the Yeezy Boost, Air Force 1 and Stan Smith.

All part of their aptly named collection, Flowerbomb, each shoe features an embroidered floral motif wrapped around its outside.

FRE Customs knows how to create a trend, with each order handmade and extremely limited (to about 50 pairs each release).

The Stan Smith will set you back about $435 AUD, and the Yeezys? More to the tune of $1400 AUD.
