Target is upping its retail experience, begins rolling out Next Generation stores

Features include an in-house Target café.

Starting with its first opening today, Target will be rolling out a series of new and improved stores. As one of Australia’s leading retailers, the strategy is being implemented to enhance the shopping experience. Basically they’re just making our lives better and way simpler.

These will be the Next Generation stores, and will include a bunch of new features such as….

*drum roll*

In-store cafés: Replenish yourself after a shopping sesh or pre-game meal with a light meal or stack in-store, #targetandchill

Click ‘n’ Collect service: Shoppers can order products online and pick up in-store. Online meets in-store shopping.

Personalised clothing services: A T-shirt print station and an on-site clothing alteration service

There’s also going to be a digital photo kiosk so you can print all of your #mems, a designated kids play zone as well as a parent’s room.

Last but not least, they’re giving their fashion department some mega TLC. You can now shop with Target’s team of stylists, the StyleMe Shoppers, and then try it all on in a state-of-the-art fitting room.

You can expect to see these improvements to existing stores as well as completely new ones.
