Tommy Hilfiger is collaborating with Vetements for a unisex drop

Oh my gawd.

Following the hype of Louis Vuitton’s collab with Supreme (now in Bondi, FYI), it doesn’t surprise us that other designer labels are looking to do something similar. But we definitely didn’t see this coming.

Tommy Hilfiger has teased an upcoming collection with Vetements on his personal Instagram.

According to the designer, Vetements chief executive officer, Guram Gvasalia, called him and asked to collaborate a few months back.

The collection will reportedly drop in February 2018, at Vetements stockists including Barneys New York, Harrods and Colette.

In an interview with WWD, Hilfiger said we can expect luxe streetwear in grey, navy, red and fuchsia. It will include unisex tees, beanies, socks and Vetements’ signature oversized hoodies.

The collection won’t be cheap either, with socks expected to drop for around $135, caps at $372 and hoodies at approx $1460.

“We agreed to it because we think [Vetements is] such a cool brand and think it will be an incredible collaboration,” said Hilfiger of the collection.

“The fact that a disruptive designer like Demna would want to do something with our brand is a tremendous compliment.”
