A round of applause.

We’re filled with Aussie pride hearing the news that Toni Maticevski has made his debut at Haute Couture Fashion Week.

The designer showcased 29 looks from his Resort 18 collection in Paris this week, as well as a selection of couture pieces.

Inspired by Australian artist, Anna-Wili Highfield, Maticevski’s collection played with volume. Think sculptural dresses, asymmetrical cuts and oversized silhouettes in a palette primarily of rust, black and white.

The show was a long time coming, with the designer already showcasing his collections three times each year in the city.

Check out all the looks above.
