Another reason we should live in New York.

Urban Outfitters is still yet to open an Australian store and to rub salt in the wound, the New York and Brooklyn stores gave away free kittens over the weekend.

The brand teamed up with the Best Friends Animal Society to waive adoption fees and find some loving homes for these adorable felines. All cats were vaccinated and microchipped, and adopters nabbed a free shirt along with their new furry friend.

And the giving didn’t stop there. Shoppers who donated $5 to Best Friends received 30% discounts on their Urban Outfitters purchases.

Enough good karma for all nine lives.
