There's no denying Raf Simon's Dior Cruise show for 2016 had the wow factor, hosted at Pierre Cardin’s famous Palais Bulles bubble shaped house.

You can find the much respected stylish and futuristic home to French fashion designer Pierre Cardin just outside of Cannes.  Journalists, socialites and members of the fashion industry all flocked to the perfect location for Dior's Cruise presentation, marvelling at the atmosphere it created.

Not to take away from the collection itself, the show was comprised of playful, flirty hemlines and almost architectural shapes to match the scenery. Keeping Dior's rich history in mind, Raf Simons made references to iconic Dior silhouettes like the bar jacket, tweaked for a contemporary approach. An homage to the traditional mixed with the new, Marie Antoinette-style boots were paired with the collection.

A good mix of formality, comfortability and femininity can be seen throughout the collection. Check out the video yourself to see what the everyone’s been raving about.
