You can now get your breast milk turned into jewellery

Yep, that’s a thing you can do now.

Here at FJ, we’re not exactly experts on breast milk. But we’re here to tell you that jewellery made out of breast milk actually exists. Yep, that’s a thing you can do now.

Although breast feeding is a beautiful, natural act of love and bonding, the idea of turning breast milk into jewellery is kiiiiiiiind of weird.

It’s like taking a loved one’s hair and putting it in a locket. Or that website that turns your pets ashes into jewellery. It’s a little bit cute but mainly SUPER WEIRD.

Yet here we are. Introducing this innovative concept is jewellery company, Mamma’s Liquid Love.

Mothers around the world can now be bedazzled in their very own breast-milk ornaments, thanks to owner behind the company, Anne Marie Sharoupim. Mothers simply send their milky-reserves off to Sharoupim to be turned into jewellery. (And FYI, when the jewellery is complete, breast milk is no longer in liquid form).

The result is a selection of bracelets, necklaces and rings featuring breast-milk beads. And they’re actually quite pretty, with the beads kind of resembling a moonstone.

Customers can also have their names printed on the website’s ‘milk-received’ section – if that’s what they’re into.
