Jess McKie is the talented Australian behind the super relaxed and ultra cool new label, Skodia.

Based in New York, (where her clothes are handmade) she has crafted her first collection which pays homage to her hometown of Melbourne.

With style names like Clayton, Northcote and Preston, it’s enough to make any ex-pat just a little bit homesick. But that’s not the only tie to her beloved Melbourne, all the knitted elements of her collection are made by her Mum at home. We think that is pretty darn awesome!

An honourable mention goes to Nathan Perkel who shot the lookbook; the imagery is as pristine and crisp as the snow that features in the shots. Absolutely beautiful.

We love Skodia and can’t wait to see more!

The entire collection will be available online from August.
