At Fashion Journal, we love to discover local and sustainable brands. However, as many would know, some of the fashion industry’s most well known and influential brands sadly do not uphold these ideals.

The True Cost is a documentary made by Andrew Morgan, which explores the 'real cost' the industry is having on it’\s workers and the environment.

The documentary has been shot all over the world and features interviews with Stella McCartney, among other influencers in the industry, to bring awareness to the way our clothes are being produced.

The documentary will be released worldwide on May 29 and the launch in Australia will be marked with a screening and Q&A session presented by Fashion Revolution.
