How to: Bottega Veneta runway up-do

Looking gooooood.

The Redken team are pretty busy right now, travelling all over to make sure the models on the world’s biggest runways are looking pretty goooood.

This week, Redken’s hair director Guido Palau is sharing the deets on how to get a simple and elegant up-do, fresh off the Bottega Veneta runway at Milan Fashion Week.

1. Start with damp hair and apply Redken Satin Wear 02 Prepping Blow Dry lotion. Blow dry hair until dry, then create a messy middle part.

2. Using your fingers, roughly brush hair back into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic. Liberally spray Redken Wind Blown 05 Dry Finishing spray to ponytail to create texture and add slight lift.

3. Twist the end of ponytail around the elastic to create a messy knot, ensuring the ends of the ponytail remain out and stiff. Secure knot with pins.

4. Lightly mist Redken Forceful 23 Super Strength hairspray to hairline to tame fly-aways.
